Before you start

Does the GIF include sound?

No. GIF does not carry audio. Keep an MP4 when you need sound.

How can I reduce GIF size?

Use a shorter segment, smaller width or lower frame rate. Start with 480 pixels and 12 fps. GIF can be much larger than an MP4 of the same scene.

Are videos uploaded?

No. Conversion runs in your browser using a locally served video engine. Keep the tab open; available browser memory affects large videos.

Which inputs work?

Common codecs in MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV. A browser may fail to preview a codec that the conversion engine can still read. HDR colours may differ.
